Marcel Fuentes is a versatile television executive and producer with over 15 years of experience in creating innovative unscripted content. Known for his knack for crafting engaging narratives that connect with audiences, Marcel has consistently produced shows that leave a lasting impact.

 

During his tenure as VP of Unscripted at Stage 13, a Warner Bros. Television Group studio pod, Marcel played a pivotal role in amplifying diverse voices and fresh talent through innovative series. He served as Executive Producer for The CW's hit show "March" and HBO Max's "Family Style," while also driving the creative development of acclaimed projects like "Lipstick Empire," "Independent," and Netflix's "Cooking on High."

 

In addition to his work on unscripted series, Marcel has also collaborated with brands like Toyota, Metro PCS, Chime, Frito-Lay, Chrysler, and Heineken, seamlessly integrating them into content. Through organic series integrations and companion custom spots, he blended storytelling with strategic brand objectives, elevating both the content and the brand's visibility.

 

Marcel’s recent work showcases his ongoing influence in the industry, collaborating with top-tier talent and production companies such as Issa Rae's ColorCreative, Wilmer Valderrama Enterprises, and international entities like NHNZ Worldwide in New Zealand. He’s worked with talented personalities like Nina Parker, comedian Affion Crocket, and Fred Schmidt from the "Mission Impossible" franchise.

 

Passionate about creating authentic, culturally relevant content that resonates with global audiences and drives business objectives, Marcel continues to push the boundaries of unscripted television. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Marcel’s passion for television was ignited early on. After earning his Bachelor of Arts from UCLA, he quickly established himself as a visionary in unscripted television, consistently bringing new perspectives to the screen. Whether through his work with major networks and streamers like Netflix, Max, NBC, MTV, and Telemundo or his leadership in producing international formats like "La Voz Kids" (The Voice) and "Top Chef," Marcel continues to create content with an innovative and inclusive approach.
